TAIGenomics uses the genomic analysis model developed by Taiwan AI Labs to assist professionals in identifying underlying diseases, greatly improving efficiency, accuracy, and quality of medical care while reducing the cost of genomic analysis.

TAIGenomics employs an artificial intelligence system that peruses an extensive amount of medical literature, performs big data analysis on the available information, standardizes the given genomic database, and builds an association graph and prediction model from known diseases, treatment, and cancerous genes. All this, in hopes of a brighter day for Taiwanese genomic analysis.

With the help of organizations such as the Taiwan CDC, the Taipei Veterans General Hospital, and the Taipei Medical University Hospital, we have at present developed AI models for sepsis prediction, malaria diagnosis, and brain cancer detection. Our models bring expert-level precision and speed, drastically improving the efficiency and accuracy rate of the medical diagnostic process.

A community project initiated by Taiwan AI Labs aiming to reduce the spread of infectious diseases. leverages Bluetooth signal to estimate the physical social interactions out of devices close to individual. A decentralized approach protects user privacy.

The proposed AI-based system works on chest x-ray (CXR) images to predict whether a patient is infected with the SARS-CoV-2.  The proposed method has been integrated into the SARS-CoV-2 screening system maintained by Taiwan Centers for Disease Control and Taiwan National Health Insurance Administration.
